I’ve been a full-time coach and race director since 2016. Prior to that, I was a Product Manager leading Agile software product teams. This experience has shaped my coaching as much as anything I’ve done on the roads or trails. As you get to know me, you’ll see that I constantly think outside the box and apply an agile mindset to how I train and problem solve.

As an athlete and coach, I focus on the whole person. I seek to strike balance between the body, the mind, and the spirit. I believe that our mental health is as important as our physical health. You can expect me to challenge you to make improvements in many categories of your physical and mental health. And you can expect me to inspire you with the example I set.

I look forward to sharing in your running journey and I thank you for trusting me to guide you on your path.

Jason Schlarb has been a coach for 5 years, a full-time professional trail runner for 9 years, and an elite track, cross country, and marathon runner for 13 years before that.

Schlarb is a father, adventurer, coach, and one of the best long-distance mountain runners in the world. Winner and second-fastest time ever at Hardrock 100(tie with Killian), first to ever ski the Hardrock course, 3 x winner of Run Rabbit Run 100, 2 x 1st American finisher & 4th at UTMB along with numerous other records, FKTs, meanderings, and wins over his 9 years as a world-class trail runner.

Schlarb is also Co-star in Run Around the World, an episodal film series covering adventures and races in the most exotic and amazing locations such as China, Oman, Patagonia Argentina, and many, many more to come.
