Run Beyond with Jeff Browning

We have the great privilege to bring you a conversation with the legendary Jeff Browning. Jeff is one of the winnest 100-mile endurance athletes of all times (tied for the second-most wins with Ann Trason).

We talk to Jeff about his training regimen, his diet, and his recovery strategy in between 100-mile races.

This is a killer episode and we hope you enjoy it.

About the Podcast

Run Beyond
Trail Athletes Training Community
Run Beyond is a community of athletes and outdoor culture enthusiasts. We value a life rich in experiences over one rich in material possessions. Like our ancestors before us, we thrive on exploring what’s beyond our physical and metaphorical horizons. We follow in the footsteps of visionaries like Shakelton and his crews, Mallory and Irvine, and our ancient ancestors who first sailed the oceans and ventured to cross the Bearing Straight.

About your hosts

I’ve been a full-time coach and race director since 2016. Prior to that, I was a Product Manager leading Agile software product teams. This experience has shaped my coaching as much as anything I’ve done on the roads or trails. As you get to know me, you’ll see that I constantly think outside the box and apply an agile mindset to how I train and problem solve.

As an athlete and coach, I focus on the whole person. I seek to strike balance between the body, the mind, and the spirit. I believe that our mental health is as important as our physical health. You can expect me to challenge you to make improvements in many categories of your physical and mental health. And you can expect me to inspire you with the example I set.

I look forward to sharing in your running journey and I thank you for trusting me to guide you on your path.
